We welcome Glenda Schuh and Diana Villaflor-Camagong; Glenda became a RN in 1960 and an IP in 1985; Diana practiced medicine before becoming an IP in 2001. En el transcurso del 2021 fallecieron, en Washington, 2264 personas a causa de sobredosis con opioides. Esta cifra debe llevarnos a reflexionar, pues entre quienes perdieron la vida pudieron estar nuestros cónyuges, hijos, padres, hermanos, compañeros de trabajo, vecinos o amigos.  

Cada año, el 31 de agosto se celebra el Día Internacional de Concientización sobre las Sobredosis (IOAD por su siglas en inglés). Es una fecha para rememorar a aquellos seres que hemos perdido por sobredosis de drogas mundialmente, y, además, reconocer el dolor de todas las familias y amistades que se quedaron en este mundo para recordarlos.
