I flew from Detroit to Melbourne, Australia for the F1 race weekend. It just so happened that Dixon, Mano Le Tough and Recondite would also be in town for this day party. It couldn't have been a better week. I saw Recondite at a small club with about 100 other people and Mano Le Tough at Glamorama Bar on Sunday night with another 150 people. So cool. 

I caught F1 qualifying and then made my way to Caulfield. The Funktion One Vero system was disgusting. So crisp sounding. First hour or so sounds ok. But after that, it thumps. First time I heard Philippi & Rodrigo's "Karma" and Rampa's "Necessity." To this day, they are both two of my favorite tracks of all time. Enjoy.

The first two hours of my six hour set, setting the atmosphere and listening to some deep, tripping & far out sounds on the funktion one. One of those rare nights when the flow arrives from the first moment, in a special room full of familiar faces and high spirits.
