Berlin-based CHOREOPHILA developed his passion for electronic music at old school raves,
hence his musical style is strongly influenced by the period of the mid 90s to early aughts.
CHOREOPHILA means „love of dancing“ and this credo defines his sound. Spanning a wide
genre range from house to trance he aims to create uplifting energies that will make you move
your body.
He is a resident dj at HRA and recently started his own podcast- and soon-to-be event series
Juicy Culture.
ABOUT THE MIX:
This mix is build around my 3 favorite tracks of the amazing debut EP „Visual Freak“ by
Supergloss & Omon Breaker. I absolutely love this EP but the tracks often don’t fit into the sound
that I’m normally playing. So when Geheimclub approached me to do a mix for their podcast
series I took the chance to show the darker side of my music collection. This set is a mixture of
progressive trance, EBM-infused tracks, Acid and somer proper old school tracks towards the
end. I tried to take the listener on a hypnotizing musical journey into the darkness and back into
the light again. Because without light there is no darkness and without darkness there is no light!

Body Clinic joins Neptune Discs for their next 12” release with four tribal tech-house cuts, recalling the sound of early-2000s Pacha. With E-Talking on Papa Nugs’ label running the festival circuit this summer, he’s already become the talk of the scene—and this EP makes clear why.

Each track is driven by drums at the highest grade—rugged, weighty basslines locking in with sci-fi warped FX, keeping the floor in constant motion. Trippy vocal cuts thread through the grooves, getting deep into our heads and sending minds off into nearby dimensions. And that’s just the a-side.

Flip it over and Bongo Loco comes rolling in—a true cruiser. Built around a huge breakdown of layered bongos, it kicks back in with the kind of chest-rattling low end that have become Body Clinic’s signature. Helena's sound as a DJ can't be nailed down as she cuts between genres with ease. So no tags needed.. She is capable of handling perfectly an audience independently of musical origin.

As a producer this obsessive nature comes across in the intensity of her music. Her debut release 'Actio Reactio' just came out on Actress's Werk discs imprint as well as a collaboration with F#X as 'Black Sites' on PAN.

In 2015 she established her own label "Return To Disorder", a name inspired from a World War I art movement, with two exciting releases and a third one that will follow is from the Moscow Death Disco vs Le Chocolat Noir. The label’s debut from Leicester-based psych-rock band Children Of Leir. Judging by her aesthetics, we should definitely keep an eye on her upcoming moves...
