Padley And Storm. Dark/Mysterious. Full orchestra.

This was really  interesting to compose.  I wanted to explore more with experimental music/vst/sound effects.

The  first instrument I worked with this on this is bass guitar as I was playing with rhythm I then paired it with percussion.  It fit.

I love how I incorporated the trumpet.  I was searching for just the right instrument that would take hold of a melody and work with the other instruments.

It was somewhat inspired from my love of some space movies and star trek the next generation/star wars etc.  With that being said, this composition is one that for sure I can add to and work on to make longer if I want to.  For now though it's another short composition that was just so much fun to create.

I had struggled with finding something that would work with this title.  My abstract art seems to work well with this.  I first painted paper, then digitally enhance and manipulated it.

Eclectic Vortex

Talking my Dad (who is 96) some years ago and offering my condolences upon finding out he had just lost one of his cherished longtime friends, all he said was "They're all gone now." I was reminded of this recently while staying with him while Mom (now 92) was recovering in the hospital. I wrote this song during a quiet moment while he was sleeping. "Shire Celebration" is a joyous and carefree musical composition that captures the essence of hobbit culture in J.R.R. Tolkien's Middle-earth.
