Hugging Letters

I wrote this song after watching a clip from a rehab centre for Raptors. A guy took a small box to the side of a lake, slid off the lid and stepped back.  Nothing happened...... then suddenly a bird rose up out of this small box and spread it's massive wings (they must have been at least 2m across) and flew across the lake to the forest.  Awesome majesty set free.

Standing On The Outside

This song is about 3 little people I adore.  They are my fiercest critics and my biggest fans. They only need to hear my songs once and they can then sing it!  When I first sang this song to them, they said very seriously that it needed more of their favourite colours, so after some collaboration and re-writing they finally gave this song the thumbs up.  I hope you do too.
