Midnight Passion Mix

A collection of improvisational electronic mantras, premiered earlier this year on NTS, where Parisian artist Shelter explore odd meters Indian-inspired drum cycles and expansive drone harmonics, like a dreamed folklore reminiscent of Charanjit Singh's Eternity, John Hassel's fourth world or Craig Leon's Nommos.

The result is a radical sound, blurring the line between organic and synthesis where drum machines are melting in surreal harmonium textures, programming is indistinguishable from improvisation, gently steering the LP in the continuity of Shelter's previous release on Séance Centre's Speculative Ethnography series and an alternative fusion culture from Brittany.

Comes in a sturdy tip-on jacket made in Finland

Much deepness this show from Manny Evans who is a Producer/Remixer from San Francisco on the Solar Phenomena label. 
His original tracks and frequent remix collaborations need no introduction. 
His music career has evolved from playing other people’s music to producing his own. 
Manny has aligned his talents with Solar Phenomena since 2020 with his first release "Solid State".
His love and true roots has always been for the dance floor and he puts heavy emphasis on his productions to express that Feeling and you can that in his awesome mix.

Past Forward #90 with Rami Abi Rafi

I’ve tried to get Armin in our podcast series for more than two years. Extraordinary selector from Vienna, he’s part of the legendary Tingel Tangel team and, more recently, part of the Liederbetätigung duo (with Alexander Fuchs) who dig together (check their Youtube channel https://www.youtube.com/liederbetätigung) and making parties with the likes Rearview Radio and Kejeblos in the city. The duo is focused on “rather real pop songs (or rock, of course) from Germany or Austria, but also love the French and especially the Italian approach to music”. Armin is also known for his crazy edits of hard-to-find bangers. He included some of it in his podcast for us, an incredible and authentic journey into the lush and strange jungle of his mind. P.S. Jan Schulte mentioned Armin as "the best DJ in the world", so just decide when to listen this mix - right now or asap.
