Oliver Garcia, also known as Hotllywood, moved to New York City from the Dominican Republic at the age of 16. To help sustain his family, Oliver worked a variety of odd jobs all over New York but always came back to music in his free time. Oliver’s fiery personality and thick Dominican accent earned him the name Hotllywood. At the time where big names like Daddy Yankee and Tego Calderon dominated the radio airwaves, 15 year old Hotllywood would listen to beats and instrumentals while writing music during his commutes to school and work.

Hotllywood’s pursuit of a musical career led him to Until Forever Free Records, an independent music collective based out of NYC focused on experience of inner city struggle. At the moment, his music and lyrics cater to a mature audience but is working to evolve his craft to cross all age, cultural, and social boundaries. Hotllywood views music as more than a creative expression; it is a vehicle to improve his quality of life. This approach includes Hotllywood’s exploration of therapeutic benefits of soundwaves. Hotllywood is currently featured on the song TIKTOK alongside labelmates Davinci and Nexiio and will be releasing a new project soon.
