This Mendelssohnian theme came to me in a dream two years ago.

Impromptu for Cello in D Major

This piano track emerged in the beginning of the lockdown in Vienna. The city of Vienna was suddenly quiet, but singing birds took over the space. The most magic hours were during nightfall, when the blue of the night set in. This is what this song is about. For Video Footage of that time see

Composition-wise, the piece has a recurring theme in C that is varied several times with individual unique sections in betwwen. At the climax it shift to c minor while fading out in C major again. While the piece is in general in a 4/4, the right hand becomes more and more triolic in the latter part of the piece.

The Guardian killed the Divine Flower with his sword. Only one of them survived in the end. But not for long...

Since the Guardian was the Flower's creation, he cannot live if he is dead. So several minutes later, the Guardian fall on the flowers, looking to the skies. He avenged his fallen love. He don't have anything to live for anyway.

In the end, the fallen Guardian turned to ashes, that was scattered by wind.

And while his body disappeared from this world, his soul woke up in heaven, where he reunited with his beloved girl.

Together, they both finally found peace in eternal love. 
Together. Forever.

This is a follow-up posting of a wonderful collaboration Dan-T had invited Debra and I to contribute to.  Dan had posted it well over a year ago as a backing track to a dramatic French Fantasy production.  With his kind permission after the delay of a year, I wanted to post this as a celebration of a different kind of drama--life awakening from a long winter sleep. Dan's synths are sweeping and epic, Debbie's playing is measured and elegant like the words in a fine poem.  The Requinto guitar has a sweet voice sounding a bit like a Celtic harp to round out the production. Recorded on a C. Bernstein grand piano and mixed November 2023 at GAM Studio by producer Armen Bedrossian near Paris, mastered by Coponat Records, ‘Re-Creation’ is a relaxing and emotional solo piano piece. Main theme is inspired by classical melodies and schemes reminded from learning music as a child. Seven variations follow one another, with various developments. Here is the reason of the song title: on one hand creation is inspired from the past, on the other creation can be infinite. And it’s also a childish recreation.
