Active for nearly three decades, Japanese DJ and producer Takaaki Itoh has been carving out a niche truly his own in the realm of deep techno. Pumping out multi-sensory DJ tools for breakfast, Itoh champions a sound highly dynamic yet infused with the kind of minute textural work and layers of modular complexity one can not but marvel at. Punching in with a wild two hours of electro-magnetic hardware funk and entrancingly immersive brainwaves, the Sendai-based wizard elevates us to a whole new world where hi-tech submersion and atmospheric club music reign supreme.
