Basing his sound heavily on his uniquely dark and twisted melodies, dubspeeka has created a brooding, atmospheric EP that capture each individual feeling on the techno scale from bouncing, energetic tracks to melancholic offerings. Madrid native Dennis Cruz makes his Solid Grooves Records debut with three rumbling cuts including a remix from fellow countryman Wade.

Since his debut in 2010, Cruz has become a staple in Beatport’s charts, not to mention the sets of artists such as Marco Carola, Joseph Capriati, Nicole Moudaber, Yousef and Roger Sanchez. Throughout this time the likely producer has dropped releases on Saved, Deeperfect, Stereo Productions and Kinetika, not to mention his very own imprint Lemon-Aid Music. He now arrives on PAWSA & Michael Bibi’s Solid Grooves Records, joining the likes of Wade, Kuo Climax and Rockwell & Landers for an exciting second year for the label.

Initiating with the sound of a roaring crowd, ‘See Line’ was produced with the dancefloor in mind using thudding kicks, arcane vocal samples and an energetic rhythm. ‘Heads or Cruz’ is a more low-slung number with a focus on a killer groove, whilst ‘Bienvenido’ engages in a medley of percussive elements geared for peaktime antics. Tying the package together, Wade remixes ‘See Line’ to give it his signature twist whilst ensuring the heady vocals reiterate throughout.

The new release on Andre Crom's OFF Recordings release is from the label boss himself, and follows his recent EP's on Josh Wink's Ovum Recordings.
In the past months Andre Crom has showcased the darker side of his style with thundering techno releases on imprints such as 2000 And One's 100% Pure and Hans Bouffmyhre's Sleaze (UK).
On remix duty, BEC makes her debut to the label, who along with being an artist on Pan-Pot's label Second State, has also released on imprints such as Carl Cox's Intec.
BEC is a rising star who has been proclaimed as "an artist to watch in 2018" by a number of press publications, and her remix on this EP is nothing less than exceptional.
Kicking off the EP is "Consciousness", a minimalistic peaktime burner based on an acid bassline, an intense percussion loop and the name-lending vocal.
While being based on a similarly tight groove, "Resonance" takes things to a slightly deeper level with its emotional chord-pad-theme.
Finishing with BEC's remix of "Resonance" the EP comes to a close with her emotive string pads which build into the percussive groove taken from the original.
