Sovereign Brass is one of the finest Championship Section Brass Bands in the Midlands. 

Founded in 1987, this Black Country based band quickly established a reputation for high quality performances, both competitively and on the concert platform.

Success at the Midlands Championships over four consecutive years saw the band rise to Championship status by 1992.  A status held for 27 years, winning numerous Championship titles and appearing on hit BBC TV.
