I wrote this song about how heartbreak feels when you’re young. It doesn’t ever really go away. Love started so beautifully in May, didn’t it? And then the leaves started to turn.

Give Up

I started writing this song in 2018. I was in 8th grade at the ripe age of 14. I remember walking to “the other school” one day and the sky quite literally looked like an ocean. I’m not a cloud expert, but they were the types of clouds that looked like waves. I took a picture of them, I remember, but I can’t find it anymore.

Anyway, cloudy days aren’t so bad when the sky looks as pretty as it did that day. 

This is a very old, and very late original song called “Nirvana.”

The Show Must Go On

I have struggled with writer’s block for a while now, so here’s a re-recording of a song I wrote back in 2021 when I was 17. I’m 21 now. “54 - Remastered” if you will.

It’s funny how the meanings of words change as years pass. Nonetheless, it is one of my first ever finished songs and still means a lot to me, no matter how it is interpreted.

This school year, I have been doing a lot of thinking about what my purpose is and what I’m going to do with the rest of my life. I feel as if I am falling behind. Somehow, everyone around me has it figured out. Woe is me.

I feel like all I ever do is work anymore. I haven’t had much time to sing. This is my latest cover, a song from the musical “Company,” though this is Eleri Ward’s version. 

My EP, “Time Waits For No One,” is officially out on Spotify & Apple Music, and consists only of originals written by yours truly. I plan on releasing a cover album in the future, but I figured I’d throw this one on SoundCloud for those of you that continue to listen to me here. Check me out other places.. :)
