I’ve Got Batman In My Basement 

During a fight with Batman over a stolen Fabergé egg, the Penguin incapacitates Batman with poison gas. The Dark Knight is rescued by a teenage amateur detective named Sherman Grant and his friend Roberta, who hide Batman in Sherman's basement long enough for him to recover before the Penguin finds them.

Heart of Ice

Bitter scientist Victor Fries, as Mr. Freeze, attacks several divisions of GothCorp, each time stealing a piece for a secret weapon he intends to build. Batman investigates the connections, and discovers that the start of Freeze's vendetta against GothCorp was a bitter falling out between Fries and GothCorp's CEO, Ferris Boyle (Mark Hamill), during which Boyle almost killed Fries (mutating him into Freeze) and presumably killed Fries' terminally ill wife, Nora. Batman must find a way to bring Boyle to justice before Freeze carries out his revenge.  This episode won the 1993 daytime Emmy for most Outstanding Script.

The Cat and the Claw Part 1

Batman encounters a new cat burglar calling herself Catwoman, and around the same time, meets a woman named Selina Kyle (as Bruce Wayne), to whom he is visibly attracted. When Selina runs into trouble with a terrorist group known as The Red Claw, who want the mountain lion sanctuary she was trying to protect, she decides to take matters into her own hands and investigate.

The Cat and the Claw Part 2

The leader of the Red Claw group (known herself only as Red Claw) attacks a military train and steals a viral plague, which she intends to release in Gotham if she isn't paid a ransom, and Batman and Catwoman must put aside their differences and work together to stop Red Claw before it is too late.

The Vanishing (1988)
 
This Dutch thriller film directed by George Sluizer and based on the book The Golden Egg by Tim Krabbe, follows a man who searches obsessively for his girlfriend following her disappearance at a rest stop.

The film stars Bernard-Pieere Donnadieu, Gene Bervoets and Johanna ter Steege.

The film was put forward for an Oscar but as it was a Dutch film with too much French dialogue it was disqualified despite winning numerous awards upon its release around the world.

The film was adapted into a radio play for the BBC and was remade for the American audience using the same title starring Sandra Bollocks, Keifer Sutherland, Jeff Bridges and Nancy Travis.

Season 3:  Episode 119 - EUROPEAN HORROR:  The Vanishing (1988)

28 Days Later (2002)
 
Directed by Danny Boyle and starring Cillian Murphy, Charles Eccelston, Brendon Gleeson and Naomi Harris, this British apocalyptic film would be a box office success garnering a sequel in 2007.  Considered to be the film that introduced fast moving zombies, when in fact, it was Return of the Living Dead that actually started this trend.  The film would deal with the evil of man and disease when it gets out into the streets of London. 
 
28 Months Later (2007)
 
The sequel to the successful 28 Days Later, the film would be directed by Juan Carlos Fresnadilo and star Robert Carlyle, Rose Byrne and Idris Elba.  The film would be a success and receive good critical reviews.  It is a direct sequel and deals what the rage virus is introduced into a safe zone due to two people’s direct consequences by putting their needs above the common good.
