This started out because I have a kalimba that I wanted to use and it ended being one of my favorite songs I've written in a long time. Dedicated to someone special in starlight.

Starlit You

Big symphonic intro followed by nostalgic sounding lofi. Kudos if you catch the little quote I threw in there. Not sure why I decided to throw the string section in there, it just kinda felt right in the moment.

Times Past

Everyone always tells you to be yourself, but that only really works if you're happy with who yourself is. The most myself I ever get is writing music but I always seem to HATE what I've made after the fact, no matter how good it is. Anyone who says they like it is lying to get me to shut up, at least that's what my brain would believe, and that's not really fair. To myself, or to the music.

Happy With Yourself

Enjoy space. I've really been trying to save up music for a 3rd album but everytime I finish a song I just wanna release it. Might start using soundcloud as like a "they get it first" deal and then spotify and other services will get it later as an album

So I've used up around 95% of my soundcloud upload time before I have to start paying for more, so I think what I'm gonna do is once I write enough material that I can't upload anymore that'll be the third album. Then at that point I'll start uploading on spotify, youtube music, itunes and other places like that more exclusively. So once the third album comes out follow me on spotify to keep up with what I do.

Unseen And Unheard

Really feelin the classical guitar lately. Felt I had to incorporate it somehow, and here we are. The samples are from a Jazz Standard called My Funny Valentine. I made a cover of it myself and then sampled from that. I only have enough space on soundcloud for about 2 more songs (ish). After that I'll probably shift fully to spotify, youtube, and apple music.

Minha Bossa Engraçada

ReUploaded because I think this song deserved better. This was originally an experiment I did with live recording mixed with midi tracks. But honestly this is one of my favorite songs I've ever written. I have no clue why man I just really love it.

Monte Vista

You know what anxiety brain is? writing an entire set of WORDS and a melody with them to sing along with this song but scrapping it at the last minute because you HATE how your own voice sounds. Yeah, that's it.

Well everyone. It's been fun but I really don't wanna pay for soundcloud. I really appreciate everyone who's followed and actually listened, but I'll be transitioning to spotify completely from now on. I really hope you'll follow me over there. Maybe there'll be more to come. I figured what better way to end an era than with a song that SOUNDS like end credits, hence the soundtrack tag. Thanks for listening.
