BCHTA Rising representa un movimiento de auto-expresión musical de jóvenes estadounidenses bilingües con profundas raíces caribeñas. Es el cantar de una generación de migrantes o hijos de padres emigrados que se criaron bajo la influencia de géneros musicales tan diversos como la música pop, el rock, el reguetón, el hip-hop, el R&B contemporáneo, y la bachata. Es una interpretación multilingüe, multicultural y multigenérica de lo que significa ser latino y estadounidense en el siglo veintiuno. Es, sobre todo, una tendencia sincera, espontánea, y franca.
BCHTA Rising es el producto de la genial alianza entre el productor musical sP Polanco, tres veces nominado a los premios Grammy, y su homólogo multitalentoso, Israel Palma (Mayinbito). BCHTA Rising integra vocalistas, compositores y músicos decididos abrirse un espacio en el mercado global de la bachata. Estos talentosos artistas muy a menudo, en vez de perseguir su auténtica auto-expresión, han tenido que renunciar a su manera original de mezclar lenguas y géneros musicales doblegándose ante las expectativas tradicionales de la radio latina estadounidense. BCHTA Rising busca principalmente dotar a estos excelentes artistas de un instrumento que le permita su libre auto-expresión para que así puedan llegar a una audiencia más amplia a través de melodías que expresan la autenticidad de sus sentimientos de un modo que hasta ahora no habían tenido la oportunidad de producir.
