I Need To Feel


	Moments in time captured in memories
	Those times came to an end so painfully
	The only thing left to show I care
	Is to go lay flowers down
	Since then I've never felt a love as strong
	One day there were hopes and dreams
	The next day gone suddenly
	We knew what was in each others heart
	Did we say all the words to be said

	I need to feel the pain
	Feel the truth
	For all the things i've locked outside
	I'll need to understand things
	That I may never know
	With a wary eye
	I need to feel


	Some folks say time heals all wounds
	I'm still waiting for that day
	Others say prayers will be answered
	Does that mean my faith not strong enough
	My beliefs surely put to the test
	When I've thought it was time to move on		
	My heart just couldn't let go
	Wounds that were not nearly healed
	No quick cure after all the tears



	Comparisons in my mind that I do not seek
	Complicates any chance at love those feelings still run deep
	As time goes on
	Those questions still linger
	With answers that could cause more pain
	Have I sacrificed any hope for the future
	For memories of the past
