A selection of Dragon Quest symphonic pieces good for relaxing, roll20, or just chilling.  All of them are by the great Koichi Sugiyama and have various applications for roll20 and D&D games.

Assorted Dragon Quest (Symphonic)

I put this together for a visit to the temple of love in my game.  It's mostly orchestral + strings + choir music in a turn-of-the-20th-century style.  Suitable for background romance in your games and just a little bit campy.  Anachronistic for D&D, I know, but hey, it works for my adventures and my players liked it.  In fact, we kept it around for romantic RP.  A bit on the loud side in places, so keep it low if you use it!

A favorite track from The Mists of Avalon (2001), and a very nice piece of a medieval town or courtly background music, especially if you want festive overtones.

Dragon Quest VII OST 3DS Koichi Sugiyama.  Ah, that classic trill of flutes along with sweeping violins and a bouncy melody.  About as town music-y as you can get.  I definitely use it in my roll20 games.

This is a piece I commissioned from Peter Smith, of Soundole VGM Covers, for the town music theme of the Ultima Exodus NES game (1983), originally composed by Gotō Tsugutoshi.  This track uses patches 15 and 21 of the inbuilt sounds of the Akai EWI (Electronic Wind Instrument) 4000s.

DQ VII - Land of Tranquility (Symphonic)

From Wind Ensemble Dragon Quest Part III by Koichi Sugiyama and the Tokyo Metropolitan Wind Ensemble.  This track wasn't part of the original symphonic release and is a rare one.  It's a peaceful melody that starts out suitable for town or village, but then it really picks up into a boisterous dance.  I'm sure I'll find a way to fit it into my games somewhere.

DQ VII - Sacrifice Dance And Prayer Of Revival (Symphonic)

Bustling Town from Dragon Quest XI by Koichi Sugiyama and the Tokyo Metropolitan Wind Ensemble.  The original was a medley of Bustling Town, Sleepy Village, Quiet Village, and back to Bustling Town, but I've re-edited to make a continuous Bustling Town theme suitable as background music for your tabletop games.
