Swimming Over The Moon - Verbed

Here's a fun little sketch composition for my Music Composition class!! I started the sketch with some chords in mind as a phone recording on the piano. I then added a melody on top of it that seemed really catchy. I wrote the chords out as Ab minor, E, E / Eb, Eb and developed it from there with a potential chorus or bridge section with another chord progression. I couldn't coordinate playing it all myself, so I added in some virtual instruments into Reaper. I kept it simple by adding in a kick drum to keep pulse through the whole piece, since I felt the groove is something you could stomp along to. I added in some cool string instruments,  a few piano riffs, and some a fun bassline. I titled it dark road because it felt a bit angsty.

A song describing the lovely snow of the northeast. Incorporates some good ol' MIDI keyboard jamming, some original lyrics, vocals layering, and harmonies. 
Mixed with the help of a great friend.

Experimental remix of (G)I-DLE 's MV teaser 2 of Hwaa 화(火花) in their new album I-BURN. Sampled the original teaser since it sounds so epic and elegant. It's still a bit sloppy and transitions need some work but I had a lot of fun making it ^^
