'Dregs' creates a comforting atmosphere with acoustic guitar, violin, harmonium and vocals. Conflicting with this simple, dry soundscape we hear unsettling lyrics which describe a desire to dissect the physical body in order to find the answer to emotional unrest.

'Dregs' is the first single to be released from our debut EP “Human Remains” and is the smallest arrangement we see on the EP. anenome proudly engineer their music in-house, mixed by the great Cian Nolan (Lifts), mastered by Harvey Birrell

Dregs

Anenome, Dublin based four piece expanding the boundaries of folk/rock music. Front women Clara Webster and Lily Brodie Hayes use rich string arrangements and layered vocals to evoke powerful emotions in their music, connecting people to each other on the basis of an honest shared human experience. Drawing from influences such as PJ Harvey, Lankum, Nick Cave, Katie Kim and Keeley Forsyth, they reach beyond what we have already heard and make something new.
