Songwriting superstar Stine Grove is back on Amsterdam Trance Records, her 3rd release one the label following on from 'Cage Bird' and 'This World is Full of Goodbyes'. Joining Stine is Dutch duo Stargazers who have had some BIG vocal collaborations this year and look to continue that run with 'Time Travel Away'. Various styles of music really grab my attention; Classical, Electronic, Jazz… Grew up appreciating the rock and disco records my brothers left lying around. Took up the piano at an early age after hearing my Mom play. Began playing in church and also began playing  percussion in high school and went on to study music in University. Enjoyed the synth sounds prevalent in 80’s music and smile every time I think of the days of my childhood roller skating at the roller rink listening to disco and 80’s music.  In the 90’s I  discovered all the genres I love and simply referred to them all as Techno. The live vinyl mix on my local radio station on Friday kept me tuning in.  I couldn’t wait to try out new music I found and drive everywhere listening to it the rest of the week. There was something about that driving beat and especially when it was blended with classical sounding music that got me hooked. I eventually found out most of the music and the artists I kept coming back to the most were producing in a style called Trance.  Once I had a genre name to look for, I knew which section of the Virgin record  store in Grapevine Mills to walk towards first. I distinctly remember looking on the internet for the artists on the CD’s I bought and finding out the various artist aliases I liked were some of the same producers. Fast forward 15 years while enjoying a career in sales, I finally pulled out my old Korg keyboard from 1993 and bought some software and picked back up where I left off with my love of creating and enjoying music! A couple good friends let me play and mix on their CDJ’s during a birthday party and I was in love! I Hope you enjoy my tracks!
