My 2023 AY conversion of Richard Bayliss's "For Speed We Need" and "For Speed We Need v2" tunes. I am waiting for the "For Speed We Need v3" tunes to be released on the HVSC web-site and then will create a 2nd music-disk around those tunes... probably using the same background image (which is from the 3rd game, anyway!)

I might convert a number of other Richard Bayliss tunes in the future. I think he's a pretty good SID composer and (so far) his tunes have been relatively easy to convert... and the result isn't too harsh on the ears!

LukHash - Code Veronica (Draft #1 Conversion)

A recent AY conversion of "Ida's Haschkaka" by Dubmood. Used in the CROMenu#1 on PC.
I was going to make this a 6 or 9 channel tune, but decided to minimise it to 3 channels... so make it a normal AY tune... for a change! ^_^

Dubmood posted a video on YooToob - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-1H_i4-19gc - and this track was always on my list of tunes to convert to AY. This is my 6-channel "easy listening" AY version of "Oh 2149, Sexy Thing!" by Dubmood & Zabutom (converted using Arkos2.0)

It still has a number of "bum notes" and other issues that I need to iron out, but it's quite nice (for one of my conversions!) I quite like this slowed-down version, but it still sounds as "heavy" as the original.

I might do a 3-channel version at the proper speed for my "Eine Kleine Keygenmusik" music-disk, but I kinda like this sound, instead!

Dubmood & Zabutom - Two 8912s, Sexy Things! (Easy Listening Mix)

My 2024 AY conversion of Chris Glaister's amazing, iconic title tune for the Amiga game; Lost Patrol.
This uses my usual instruments and so sounds like (pretty much) every other conversion I have ever done, ever!

Barry Leitch - Silkworm (Title)

My 2024 AY conversion of the C64 music for "Red Heat" by Jonathan Dunn.
For some reason, people really like this tune. I always thought the extra melody on the original CPC version was better than the C64 tune. I do confess that the C64 version is a lot more diverse in its rhythm section, but it is lacking in melody.

My 2024 9-channel AY conversion of "Cydonian Sky" by Dubmood. This version is actually converted using Atma's remix of the original track (although I also have the original .xm file by Dubmood!)

The original is an 18-channel .xm, but Atma took the basics of the tune and converted it into a 10-channel .xm by removing the chord-progession & bassline, then moved the rhythm/chords up an octave and sped the tune up from "10" to "9" ticks per row.

All I did was revert to Dubmood's original octave (for the rhythm & chord instruments) and going back up to "10" ticks per row.
