I performed this set at my monthly party in Underground Atlanta at Carl Jane's studio in The Inner Space. It was an intimate party with tons of positive energy. DJ FlowJo warmed up the crowd with some lover tempo bops, which created the perfect space for me to play a groovy set all about love and light. The night before, I saw the Detroit-based artist Shigeto perform at 529. One of the main inspirations I took from his set was to be bold and fearless with my selection and direction. I made many bold choices, especially with layering vocals from songs like Keysha Cole's "Last Night" and "Daily Prayer" by Mr. G (a personal mantra of mine)in very unconventional contexts.
