Consulting with health experts has helped guide Uber’s safety policies and response. In this 19 minute episode, Dr. Claire Jarashow, an infectious disease epidemiologist, shares her expert advice.

Dr. Jarashow has experience working at the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, has consulted with the World Health Organization, and currently leads the Epidemiology & Data aspects of the COVID-19 response for the Los Angeles County Dept. of Public Health.

In this episode, we’re bringing together five health services that are available for drivers and delivery people. Whether you decide to drive, deliver, or stay at home, we want to make sure you have access to resources to help you feel safe and healthy.

Services include: low cost health insurance from over 200 providers,  free virtual health care with our partner Ro, no-cost COVID-19 testing at CVS, financial help if you get COVID-19, and last but not the least, we tax-free spending accounts you can use to pay for health expenses.
