As the founder of the Ifrikya Spirit group, Chakib traveled the world with his music, forming deep connections with those around him.

His vision and dedication reached their peak with the OneBeat Sahara cultural exchange program held in the city of Taghit. Despite his own battle against illness and just a few months before his death, he brought together artists from around the world. Therefore, "TAGHIT" embodies this spirit of connection and sharing, honoring Chakib's artistic legacy while celebrating the spiritual beauty of the city and the meaningful encounters it facilitates. Née dans une famille d’artistes musiciens. Très jeune, elle décide d’entreprendre une carrière d’artiste.
Elle se découvre une vocation pour le jazz à l’âge de 15 ans en écoutant les précieux vinyles de jazz de son père sans perdre attache avec les musiques algériennes qui la bercent à ce jour.
Son parcours a été marqué par de belles rencontres comme celle du regretté Sid Ali Bahri avec qui elle interprétera ses premiers standards de jazz
En 2010, elle s’épanouit en choriste et joue à la guitare dans le groupe Gnawa « Grooz » à la Maison de jeune de Staouali (Alger) où elle rencontre son marie et son compagnon d’art Mehdi Djama. 
Invité dans son univers musical, Mehdi Djama au saxophone et à la distribution musicale va habiller sa voix de ténor et saura cristalliser l’éclat de sa voix. / accompagné de musiciens algériens de talent.
Ainsi, après de multiples scènes en Algérie et au Maroc et plusieurs expériences musicales partagées avec des artistes reconnus ici et là, elle définit enfin son univers et s’approprie un style singulier, interprétant  du Latino Jazz avec une âme algérienne et des influences rythmiques africaines, brésiliennes et latinos. Un genre qui se défait de toutes les frontières autant que celles des genres et des langages.
