Gnork and Luv*Jam have been working together for more than 5-6 years now, doing lots of gigs, remixes, collaborative EPs, appearing on various compilations. They have always worked a little bit more than what they let us think, accumulating tons of unreleased gems. The time has come to reveal some hidden goodies and we're proud to be premiering one of these secret blorpers from their new EP 'Bonus Blorps', out on Crow Castle Cuts.

The original Blorp93 yellow vinyl surfaced in 2013 and was championed by the likes of RVDS, Bradley Zero, DVS1 and Wolf Music. Since this time, there have been a few secret cuts floating around here and there, some of which lots of people were 'demanding' to be pressed. X-Kalay are ringing in their milestone 10th release with a various artist compilation, and what a release it is. Launching only last year, the London-based imprint has put out quite a few releases already from artists such as Rudolf C, Kask and No Moon amongst others. Their sound ranges from more melodic, lo-fi sounding productions to dubbed out and downright acid-y tracks. Their 10th release features producers from three continents. Mucho Sueno from Chile, two Australians in E.Davd and Escape Artist, and finally Zurich, Switzerland-based Douala who we're premiering today.

With a couple of releases on Gnork's label Blorp, Douala has been crafting a bit of a name for himself in the lo-fi scene. Generally his productions have a more melodic flare but in this case, the A1 track Mysteries of Life strays a bit from what we've come to expect from the producer. Taking a more minimalistic and dubby approach, the single has a hypnotic air about it with an upbeat rhythm but spaced out and reverberating cosmic synths, perfect for the late night hours. This instrospective tune is not one you want to miss out on and the rest of the release is a treat as well!

For its second release, Russian label Analog Concept brings you four powerful and floor-ready electro tracks from rising stars in a dedicated genre; Starting with our favourite Liverpool producer nowadays – Reedale Rise and his frisky tune Borderland that can easily work out at 5 am as well as at 5 pm. Joyful and broken rhythm promises it will shake your body properly. Simon has been seen on labels like Frustrated Funk, 20:20 Vision, Kondi etc. The next in line is Nullptr from the east side of the Island. Label boss of d-tached records and co-promoter of Cambridge-based electro night Motherchip Connexion. Coming from labels such as Detroit Underground and CPU Records it is expected this guy brings only premium sounds. He delivers a strong and vibrant track that you cannot remain indifferent to. Side B is reserved for a Belgian producer know by the name of Datawave with a catalog of finest releases in the last few years on labels like AC Records, Vortex Traks, Fundamental Records, Natural Sciences and the Croatian producer Ivna Ji with British label Brokntoys behind her. Datawave delivers a tune that keeps the atmospheric idea of the label at heart but experiments with driving rhythms and acid lines. Last but not least is Ivna's track Alpha Dial, composition that isn’t focused on dancefloors but instead entices the listener into a slowly progressing story, heavily loaded with dreamy synth lines.
