"you me us them" is the third album from the young UK-based indie musician Ricky Jamaraz. The album was written & recorded between April and July 2022 independently in his bedroom, with not much more than a laptop, a guitar, and a smile.

The 14-track album has a variety of vibes to offer, from the upbeat love-struck happiness of "supercrush" to the deeply introspective "dead flowers", or maybe you'd like the 1950s ballad style of "lanterns on the lake", or the cinematic grooves of "read between the lines". Whatever kind of mood you're in, there's something for everyone in "you me us them".

I have lived so many places in my life from Atlanta to London, to Hong Kong, to Nashville, to Chicago, to New York City, to San Francisco. And whether it was my decision to leave or it was thrust upon me by forces outside of my control, I have left them all behind with a bittersweet feeling in my heart. This song was a reflection on being a traveler and wanting a home to go back to, despite not really having anywhere to return to that one can truly call home. The realization of the narrator in this story is the old cliche “the journey is the destination” or in this case, the road to nowhere is as good as home to a wanderer.
