I wrote and produced this simple radio ad back in the 70s.  I still like it.  All the features and benefits are there while you're being entertained.
So many ads now seem totally indulgent - often entertaining without a single suggestion as to why you should switch or buy.

Brian Cadd wrote the music for this 60 second jingle in the early 70's I think..
I wrote the lyrics and the two amusing dialogue radio commercials that follow. 
Brian was a fabulous composer, singer, performer and person. 
A great Aussie who probably deserved more fame than he enjoyed.
Wardrop's Menswear stores was founded by tailor George Wardop in Melbourne.
