This track came out of a need to make sense of the chaos that lives between humour and heartbreak. It’s a nod to the minds that can’t switch off, the ones that find meaning in nonsense and nonsense in meaning. There’s memory, distortion, a few forgotten jokes, and a quiet kind of grief stitched into the punchlines. I wasn’t aiming for clarity—just honesty. It’s about being present inside the mess, where absurdity and emotion overlap. Nothing lands cleanly, and that’s the point. Sometimes, the residue of a moment is more important than the moment itself.
