Edward' S8 - 12 Theme (Extended)

Here's my take on what would be a Series 5-ish theme for these engines, I was instructed to get some inspiration from some Swedish Folk music which is why I used a more 'reedy' lead and waltzy time signature (3/16 in this case). The little motif at the start is what I have wrote to be the signature motif for these engines, non canonically of course haha.

The Culdee Fell Railway Theme

Now here's something unique. I've seen plenty of Thomas-styled covers of various obscure songs, but not once have I seen anyone try to tackle this beast. I figured, 'why not give it a go?' and made a shortened version of it for a friend's video. However, I'd been longing to do a recreation of the full song for a while and finally got the chance to recently. I hope you all enjoy it!

A potential 'what if' take on a theme for BoCo. While there was never a full theme for BoCo, the short fanfare heard in the beginning was played twice as a motif to signify BoCo's grand entrance and a strong and majestic diesel engine.
 In his debut in 'The Diseasel', the piece of music that plays is an upbeat, bouncy and playful melody that fits well with the footage of Bill and Ben going back and forth causing BoCo to feel nauseous. 

With this piece, I have taken that instrumental and slowed it down, using instruments that what most fans would symbolise the sound of Series 2, with synth brass leads, heavy strings, woodwinds and the iconic sound of the Linn LM-1.
