Due to past backlash, this might be the last of these TTTE music mashups I'm doing, so I'm going this one with a bang. I will however still do music mashups that work or anything creative whether if they are related to video-games and etc, just not mashups related to Thomas music. Okay, so this is something that I wanted to post (and remaster) for the Anniversary, but sadly I wasnt able to finish it. I also tried to export the file a few times because for some reason Zebra2 is being wacky with me. But at the end I manager to get everything right. I also added Proteus instruments so that it could feel the sense of what Gordon's theme really represents, and I really feel Happy with the result. So yeah, Hope yall enjoy this theme and happy 77th anniversary to the Railway Series!!

Gordon's Express Run (Gordon's Theme Remix) (Late 77th RWS Anniversary Special) Remastered

Ok, time to bring the big guns out. This is based on an idea that Mike O'Donnell had when they were going to do Series 3. They were going to redo the theme song with new instrumentation, which is understandable but the original still bangs undeniably.

This is kinda inspired by Mike's new mix of the theme, Thomas' Anthem and Isaiah's fantastic rendition. I wanted to make it feel like S3 by using the xylophone on the lead and keeping the arrangement faithful to the original. The Prophet Horns come in so handy for the iconic 'Closing' section. Still kept the Jupiter for the whistle though layered with the DX7 Calliope patch for texture.

Giants of Steam is a documentary about steam on the British Railways released in 1963, and was scored by Ron Grainer of the BBC Radiophonic Workshop. It's a very interesting soundtrack that just screams 1960s, and I was tasked to give it a more sampled sound. Hope you enjoy!
