GREEN EYES

Sightless Cinema is audio theatre or radio drama devised by blind and visually impaired people with theatre deviser Ciarán Taylor. Sightless Cinema is presented with surround sound in cinemas, but with no pictures. Blind and sighted audiences share an experience without need for mediation. 
Sightless Cinema 2018-2019 is funded by South Dublin County Council. Performance group White Cane Audio Theatre is supported by Dublin City Council and Fighting Blindness. In partnership with National Council for the Blind of Ireland. 
Sightless Cinema was originally commissioned by Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council under Per Cent for Art Scheme in 2014.
