Really enjoyed listening to this heartfelt Bulli tribute. I remember in my youth, a friend's father coaxing his Bulli up a very steep mountain pass, and we wondered if we were gonna make it. So like how laid back and free this song is.

The spirit of the open road so brilliantly captured in this top-notch tune, my friends.  Superb arrangement and production too!

David Lucas and his late father, Bill Lucas, an acclaimed Sydney architect attended my voice workshops held by the "Once Extra Dance Company" back in the "80's". Adventurous , creative souls with no holds barred on what was the beginnings of Danse Danse. It was then called "Dance Out Of Beat" and was a commentary on the club scene that I'd very much been a part of in the "60's" In recent times I invited Annette Scott on board who has brought it brilliantly to fruition along with my longtime collaborator, Jazz pianist/composer, Kirk Kadish. Now we have a new take on the current dance scene with a touch of empowerment as to who has the final moves.

What kind of experiment was it? I forcibly inserted another element in the middle of the DJ sound. I mainly use collage as my production method, so the atmosphere of this song is what I imagined. But it destroyed the uplifting dance mood that gets you on the rhythm. Some of the necessary elements of the music are missing, but it will be a relief for your ears.
