My name is Doctor Funk Lloydd and I'm an independent recording artist. First of all, thanks for stopping by! Please allow me to tell you a bit about myself. I've been involved in the arts since I was 9 years old and the passion has been with me ever since. I started out as a street dancer, Popping and Locking to the rhythm of sound before becoming a recording artist, song-writer and producer. I still love to dance; it has become a part of who I am.

In the year 1990 I learned how to rhyme from my neighbourhood friends. They taught me the art of free-styling and battling. With those skills in hand, I moved on to writing instead of free-styling all the time. I learned how to write songs, create music and pair them together like an old cheese and fine wine.

In 2010 I created a new genre called "Funk-Hop music"
With the help of my crew, The House Of Virtue Band, we made this new genre happen.

What is Funk-Hop you may ask? 
It's an old-school sound, with a new-school twist.
