● Take Your Time – EP is a five-track showcase of bass-heavy versatility from New Zealand’s Unwell, blending UK bass, garage, 2-step, and jungle; it moves from shimmering grooves to peak-time club pressure — built to work in any setting, from the rave to the lounge.
Produced in Wellington, the EP opens with the title track Take Your Time, a shimmering, swing-heavy garage cut, followed by two distinctive remixes: producers Joku deliver a forward-moving flip, while Ukrainian artist Lostlojic adds a smoky, atmospheric edge.
Disco Take switches gears with a playful jungle-meets-disco fusion, before Tamaki Makaurau based AndWahn closes the EP with a driving club remix built for peak-time energy.

Released on Washington’s Sound Transitions, Take Your Time – EP is a cross-
continental journey in groove; born in Wellington but shaped by influences and talents

from across the world. It’s a celebration of bass culture’s international spirit.

Following the final release of his three-part series ‘Order’, ‘Chaos’, and ‘Balance’, Bon-Psy has united the projects together into a forthcoming album, set to also feature remixes from a handful of talented producers in the Electronica space.

This second remix comes from ‘Nuage’, a respected producer with multiple releases on Anjunadeep and Phonica Records who leans into delicate and emotive electronic fusions of forward-thinking House and 2-step / Future Garage styles. Here, he transforms the melancholy and subtle approach of the original into an infectious club banger that is as catchy as it is danceable.

Kinetic low end provides the club energy while he tastefully repurposes the vocals with a scattergun effect to hit in and out over a swathe of soft synth swells and chords. The resulting piece draws similarities to the likes of Four Tet, Floating Points, and Caribou’s dance output with its blend of leftfield styles mixed with club rhythms.

Nuage is a name many of the heads already know with notable support from RinseFM, KissFM, FIP, Majestic Casual, and Mr SuicideSheep. Across DSPs he is known just as well and has been a mainstay of a variety of electronica playlists on AppleMusic, Spotify, and AmazonMusic.


Meanwhile Bon-Psy has also received notable support from BBC Radio 1, BBC 6Music , Bandcamp Weekly, and a plethora of streaming editorial playlists including Genre Glitch, Fresh Finds Experimental (Spotify), New In Electronic (Apple Music), Reverie (Tidal) and Brand New UK (Deezer).

Collectively it’s a great artistic match and the track looks set to hit the dancefloors strong with early tastemakers already unleashing it to great effect.

@francejobin is a sound/installation / artist, composer, and curator residing in Montreal, whose audio art, qualified as “sound-sculpture", reveals a minimalist approach to complex sound environments where analog and digital intersect. Her installations incorporate both musical and visual elements inspired by the architecture of physical spaces. Her work can be “experienced” internationally in a variety of unconventional spaces and new technology festivals. While her music often makes use of restraint and limit, she isn't one to shy away from extremes. Her skillful interplay between highs and lows, louds and softs, creates an intricate narrative, which stretches the listener's perception and continually refocuses attention.

Jobin presented the world premiere of Intrication at MUTEK.AR, September 14th 2018, as a live A/V performance with Argentinian visual artists Prifma. Inspired by quantum entanglement, she has attempted to discover the relationship between sound and observing sound and the consequences thereof. All sounds were recorded at various locations in North America, Europe and Japan and at EMS (Stockholm) using the Serge and the Buchla 200 modular synthesizers as well as the Nord Modular, thanks to EMS (Stockholm).

Presented as part of STREAM ON, a project by MUTEK, with the support of the Canada Council for the Arts.

Son art audio, qualifié de « sculpture sonore », se distingue par une approche minimaliste d’environnements sonores complexes à l’intersection de l’analogue et du numérique. Ses installations empruntent un parcours parallèle, intégrant des éléments musicaux et visuels inspirés par l'architecture des lieux. On peut « vivre l'expérience » de ses installations et concerts live dans une variété d’espaces non conventionnels et des festivals de nouvelles technologies internationaux. Bien que sa musique exprime fréquemment les notions de retenue et de limite, elle ne fuit pas les extrêmes. Son jeu habile entre les hautes et les basses, l’amplitude et les silences, crée un narratif complexe, qui déstabilise la perception de l'auditeur et recentre continuellement son attention.

Jobin a présenté en première mondiale Intrication à MUTEK.AR, le 14 septembre 2018, en tant que performance live A/V avec les artistes visuels argentins Prifma.
