I am a misfit in the music world, and always have been. To what used to be my shame, I don't read music, and because of that, my music instructors made me feel like I wasn't going to cut it in the music industry. But my life is a testimony for other misfits like me! I went on to be a songwriter and music producer, having written over 100 songs and produced over 60, and now I teach an afterschool class called Music Misfits, where I collect all of the kids who don't fit into the other music classes, and we write songs, produce music, and learn to play piano and guitar by ear.
