I based the idea of this construction on thoughts of sample flipping, how a simple fragment could be twisted about to be something wholly new. Drums aside, this is entirely constructed from one sample, only further and further twisted as it runs through and into the second layer. A play of simplicity, but enjoyable too for that. An exploration of rhythmic relation and timing, groove over elaboration.
