Wanted this beat to have a hardcore vibe so I went all out on the drums and low end, lots of layering to really add weight to the mix and make the beat hit hard. Originally this beat was a throwaway cause it's pretty simple and I thought it was too repetitive, but by doing so much layering I was able to add variation by taking things in and out, giving the beat more progression and making it more interesting I think.
