This time around, Gorm is pleased to share mixing duties with Silk Music veteran Sundriver, the acclaimed melodic progressive maestro. Sundriver has contributed three brand new original compositions of his own to "Chillout Sessions 03," all of which evince his uncanny penchant for (breathtaking) atmospheric textures and lush melody lines. It is an absolute treat to experience the fruits of his long-overdue sonic experiments in this genre. bio

I am Alexandru, but I go by the alias Licushorescu. I am a student living in Botosani, a small city in the northest part of Romania.

I am a newcomer that started playing recently, more as a hobby than something serios. However, that's not to say that I don't take my mixtapes recorings seriously. Mixing deep minimal techno is what I go for mostly, but I took a step back these days and tried to explore new areas in the realm of music. I am gladful I went for ambient music, and the following set is my introduction into this genre. I will just say it's a journey full of seamingless transitions and I liked it to have some energy, therefore I went for ambient tracks with percussion. No more talking, I'll let the music speak for itself :)

For the next One Instrument Session series, we’re pleased to present the Indonesian artist, Fahmi Mursyid. 
This mini-album, limited to an edition of 200, includes 6 tracks that take the listener on a warm, experimental journey of varying timbres.

The artist has always had a personal interest in traditional Indonesian instruments, specifically from Sundanese culture, the second largest Indonesian ethnic group, native to the western part of the Island of Java.

Paying homage to this source of inspiration, he has chosen to use Indonesian instruments for almost all of the tracks on the 12’’. Considering the strict guidelines One Instrument gives the artists, Mursyid has succeeded in getting the most out of his chosen instruments.

With each of the 6 different acoustic instruments he has eluded clichè and surpassed physical limitations to shape a bold, alternative musical language.    
All tracks are recorded with only one condenser microphone.
