During his teenage devotes himself to exploring techno music until in 2017 when, for a short period, begins to organize and playing in small techno events of the province. He rediscovered in the last years the electronic sonority which were part of his childhood that influences his typically ebm and indie dance dj set. "Conceptualized toward the end of 2023, after making an ambient spoken word track for an art show, midnight fog (midnightfog.band) is the creative child of two longtime friends. Singer/ songwriter Jose A. Ramirez (popdisaster) and artist Terence Mulligan, Jr (midnightfogbassist) make up this risky band. Taking inspiration from wherever it comes, their music becomes hard to describe-nestling itself somewhere between folk and a sort of droning orchestral ambiance. The duo take a very hands on approach with their music, preferring a classic jam session and the playful aspect of making music with a friend to come up with songs. Jose's extensive experience in music production gives them the ability to enhance their sound post jam, and Terence's abstract ideas bring a lively grit to their music. For jam sessions and live shows alike, Terence plays the bass, while Jose plays the guitar. They both do the singing, sharing control of which direction the song might go. The duo has performed around Brooklyn, NY at Hart Bar, Living Skin, Gallery Tutu, and live on Columbia's WKCR.
