Apparently, most creatures with hearts, that live natural lives have 1.5 billion heart beats in their lives. Larger animals generally live longer and have slower pulses and smaller animals hearts beat faster but have shorter lives. But we all get 1.5 billion beats. (Thanks Physicist Sean M.
