Well regardless that's what this week's episode of The OrNERDnary Podcast is about.  I take a dive into some of my own unpopular opinions and try to defend them as I have repeatedly with my friends and online strangers.

And let's not kid ourselves, we all have things that we either love and no one else seems to enjoy or don't care for that others can't stop talking about.

Afterwards I dive into a bunch of movie and TV news and speak a little bit about video games, including a surprisingly intelligent move from Nintendo and my shocking love of Destiny 2.

The OrNERDnary Podcast #15: Unpopular Nerd Culture Opinions

Guess what, this week's episode is not the usual fair.

For the first time in nearly a 100 episodes this week's show is not just me monologuing for while about the things I've been doing, watching, playing or reading over the past week.

This week's episode was born out of me, in typical me fashion, finally sitting down and watching Midsommer and Heredity last weekend. 

One of my best friends in the entire world Jen, someone I've known for nearly 20 years, had been suggesting that I watch them for quite some time and as soon as I had seen them both we decided that she would need to join me on the show to talk about them.

We planned on doing both but due to technical difficulties we had to cut the Midsommer conversation short so this week's episode is entirely about Hereditary.  

So instead of a solo recap of the movie I am joined by Jen via telephone from the far off land of Texas and we have a detailed (i.e.: spoiler heavy) discussion of the plot and some of what we thought of the film overall.

We are planning on getting a 2nd installment to finish the discussion and talk about more things to make up for the abrupt end to the conversation.   So stay tuned for that in the near future.
