We were listening to Blessdance and other tracks when I started cutting in time with the scissors. That's when I came up with the idea of ​​recording the clippings with three different scissors in the studio.

I then cut up the audio tracks and installed them in a rhythm at the beginning, middle and end of the track. Did you hear the scissors?

A very intense period from November 2023 to March 2024 comes to an end with this track. I look back on very moving moments, in humility and gratitude for my wonderful life, the people who surround me, meet me and accompany me. I feel blessed, deep serenity embracing myself, people and the whole world.

There is a certain redemption in this track. Not only because I produced it for an infinite amount of time. I have completely renovated this title as a new building 3 times. Entire parts were demolished and rebuilt. I sang the Voices with a hoarse voice after a night of partying. It fit perfectly, the imperfect .

The good cooperation with Marco Amoazoo led to the release after all. I wanted to delete these files, overwhelmed as I was at times.
Thanks to him, a work of art has now been created that can hardly be classified into a genre and makes me drift far away when I hear it

After a very long production of Serenity's Embrace, the construction of Mercury's Lament was relatively easy for me. Because the plans for such a track are simpler. When it comes to chillout tracks, I often get lost in a wide variety of genres.
Spurred on by the many plays and likes of Blessdance, I have now decided to produce more on 120bpm -130bpm.

The current planetary constellation April 2024 is very special and gave me the impetus to dedicate a track to Mercury in particular during this time.

This track is harmonically tuned to D minor and thus to the handpan. I used it to compose and record the intermediate part. Since my system survived a terrible crash during the subsequent audio editing, I decided to recreate the line exactly as a midi track with Omnisphere2, a synthesizer from Spectrasonics with wonderful hang presets.

The beautiful digital and analogue mastering by Marco Amoazoo gives this track the final depth and clarity.

I travel to Finland with a small group of the "Reisefieber" Goafestival team from Switzerland in mid-July 2024 to visit the "Kosmos" festival there.
Jenni Korento had played a set at our 2023 festival on the Scheltenpass, in return we will visit her in her home country and our resident act, Digital Reflection, will free his Frequencies into the Finnish night sky.

Since we discovered the boulder "Kummakivi" on the digital exploration around the festival grounds and up to our holiday home, we decided to visit this boulder once. I now dedicate a track to this stone in advance with Nordic sounds such as violins or old Viking voices. Of course, my sweetheart's Handpan also fits in there. I composed on the instrument again, and then recorded with Omnisphere2 in the midi track.

Es war eine wunderbare Gelegenheit, zum ersten Mal mit ABSTHRAX (Absentia's Tracks) zu beginnen und stetig zu beschleunigen. Vom chilligen Intro, über 120er Off-Beats, bis hin zu Trance und Psychedelic Trance von 130bpm..

Anschliessend an meine eigenen Tracks, lass ich das Tempo ziemlich plötzlich ansteigen auf 140bpm und später 142bpm im klassischen psytrance style, der für Manchen vielleicht sogar etwas zu kitschig daherkommt..
😏 Aber es hatte ja schliesslich auch Frauen auf dem Floor. Da gehören ein paar schöne Melodien mit ins Set.. 😁

Vielen Dank für die sensationelle Anlage im paradiesischen Garten. Man muss nicht gross sein, um ein Standard HK-System in den Boden zu stampfen.. Eines meiner freudigsten Mix-Set's.. So klar habe ich meine eigenen Tracks noch nie gehört!!!

Für diesen Track habe ich mir extra ein Sonodrum gekauft. Es gab auf meinen Synthesizern keinen ähnlichen Ton, darum blieb mir nichts anderes übrig, als eines zu bestellen. Ich habe ein einzelnes Audio aufgenommen und anschliessend mit den Tasten eingespielt.

Dieser Track ist eine Widmung an ein zuvor von mir gewünschtes und sich anschliessend tatsächlich manifestierendes Ereignis mit einer engelshaften Begegnung am Feuer.

Die Widmung geht vollumfänglich an die uns umfassende Energiematrix in welcher wir uns Alle bewegen, ob wir wollen oder nicht. Es ist grösser als wir denken können, und hat die Fähigkeit alle unsere Herzwünsche zu erfüllen. Es lebt von unserem Vertrauen und unserer Zuversicht, unseren inneren Bildern und ihrem Suggestionspotenzial. Alles ist möglich!!!

Der Schluss des Tracks soll daran erinnern, dass wir zwar Alle in unserer eigenen Realität leben, diese aber ein zauberhaftes Märchen sein kann, in welches ich euch mitnehmen möchte.

For this track I bought a Sonodrum. There was no similar sound on my synthesizers, so I had no choice but to order one. I recorded a single audio and then played it in with the keys.

This track is a dedication to an event that I previously wished for and then actually manifested with an angelic encounter around the fire.

The dedication goes entirely to the energy matrix that encompasses us, in which we all move, whether we like it or not. It is bigger than we can think, and has the ability to fulfill all of our heart's desires. It lives from our trust and confidence, our inner images and their potential for suggestion. Anything is possible!!

The end of the track is a reminder that although we all live in our own reality, it can be a magical fairy tale that I would like to take you into.

This track is actually almost a bet. As a DJ, I didn't hear a single track on the key of C. It is probably due to the fact that in the lower sub-range at 32.7Hz where C is located, there is no longer any decent pressure, because our hearing only reaches up to 20Hz. If you play the bassline an octave higher, the frequency is 65.4Hz and is probably already too high to sound powerful.
In the range above 40Hz, basslines can be made easier in my opinion.
Nevertheless, I dared to experiment, with an off beat with the octave jump in the bassline, the subrange reaches an average value that I could accept.
In the end, I am happy to have finished this project and will move in a slightly different spectrum in the future.

Dieser Track ist eigentlich schon fast eine Wette.. Ich habe als Dj keinen einzigen Track auf der Tonlage C gehört. Wahrscheinlich liegt es daran, dass im unteren sub-Bereich bei 32.7Hz wo sich C befindet kein ordentlicher Druck mehr wahrzunehmen ist, weil unser Hörvermögen ja nur bis 20Hz reicht. Wenn man die Bassline eine Oktave höher spielt, liegt die Frequenz bei 65.4Hz und ist bereits zu hoch um noch druckvoll zu klingen.
Im Bereich über 40Hz lassen sich Basslines meiner Meinung nach einfacher gestalten.
Dennoch habe ich das Experiment gewagt, mit einem off Beat mit dem Oktavsprung in der Bassline erreicht der Subbereich einen Mittelwert den ich akzeptieren konnte.
Letztendlich bin ich froh dieses Projekt beendet zu haben und werde mich in Zukunft in einem etwas anderem Spektrum bewegen.

With this project I am now very mid in the bass frequencies on F sharp with low cut at 46.2Hz. The pressure comes through in a completely different way. It went relatively quickly, only the Christmas holidays slowed down production somewhat. Otherwise, this track is my new benchmark.
I have also expanded my audio sample folder a bit, so that I am prepared to go up to 140 bpm with the next tracks.
I am looking forward to a productive winter time.

Mit diesem Projekt bin ich nun ganz mittig in den Bassfrequenzen auf Fis mit Low Cut bei 46.2Hz. Da kommt der Druck schon ganz anders durch. Es ging relativ schnell von der Hand, nur die Weihnachtsfeiertage haben die Produktion etwas abgebremst. Ansonsten ist dieser Track meine neue Messlatte.
Auch meine Audio Sampleordner habe wieder ich etwas erweitert, damit ich gewappnet bin um mit den nächsten Tracks bis 140 bpm hinauf zu fahren.
Ich freue mich auf eine produktive Winterzeit.

Bei der Produktion von diesem Track habe ich einen alten Freund und Dj-Kollegen bei mir zu Besuch gehabt und es entstand die erste komplette Nightsession in meinem eigenen Studio.. Ich hatte früher schon solche Sessions mit Sphenoidmusic erlebt, damals aber eher als Copilot. Wir haben in dieser Nacht bis in die Morgenstunden bereits 70% des künstlerischen, kreativen Teil gebaut und ich konnte mich in den folgenden zwei Wochen bereits mit dem arrangieren und dem storytelling des Tracks befassen.

Spiritual Resonance passt als Titel deswegen so gut, weil wir kaum einen eingespielten Sound wieder löschten, sondern uns stets einig waren bei deren Verwendung..
Die Resonanz von Pädu, stärkte mich in jeder Entscheidung und die Produktion kam dadurch ins Fliessen wie ich es selten erlebt hatte..
Durch einige neue Erkenntnisse meinerseits, im Bereich des auspegelns und abmischens, hatte Marco beim Mastering mehr Möglichkeiten die Lautheit zu maximieren.

During the production of this track I had an old friend and DJ colleague visit me and the first complete night session was created in my own studio. I had experienced such sessions with Sphenoidmusic before, but at that time more as a co-pilot. We have already built 70% of the artistic, creative part that night until the morning hours and I was able to deal with the arrangement and storytelling of the track in the following two weeks.

Spiritual Resonance fits so well as a title because we hardly deleted a recorded sound, but were always in agreement on its use.
The resonance of Pädu strengthened me in every decision and the production flowed as I had rarely experienced.
Due to some new insights on my part, in the area of leveling and mixing, Marco had more possibilities to maximize the loudness during mastering.

Er ist eine Omage an S.U.N. Project in den 90ern. Vielleicht hört’s du von welchem Titel ich inspiriert war. Ein Part in der Mitte des Tracks ist S.U.N. Project gewidmet. Ich habe dazu ein UAD-Fuchs-Amp-Plugin für Gitarre direkt auf dem Apollo-Interface installiert und den Riff 1:1 eingespielt.. Zusätzlich noch ein paar verzerrte Synthlines als Dekor..

Frisch inspiriert, nach meinem Dj-Set an der wundervollen Party „Tanz im Dach“ 2025 von Bidu und Aira, wollte ich die guten Referenzen und  Anregungen meiner lieben Freunde in die Tat umsetzen und erwischte eine perfekte Inspirationswelle im Studio.. An zwei Wochenenden produzierte ich das Fundament des Tracks, in den anschliessenden Wochen dann die Details und das Mixing.

Ich fühlte mich in dieser Zeit und an dieser Party besonders frei, alles im Leben verlief perfekt. Es konnte nichts schief gehen. Wenn dein innerster Seelenkern von deinen Seelenbrüdern und Schwestern erkannt und geschätzt wird, dann fühlst du dich frei, ohne je etwas dafür machen zu müssen. Freiheit bedeutet Akzeptanz und Akzeptanz führt gleichzeitig in die Freiheit. Die Akzeptanz gegenüber mir selber und allem was mich umgibt.

Freshly inspired, after my DJ set at the wonderful party "Tanz im Dach" 2025 by Bidu and Aira, I wanted to put the good references and suggestions of my dear friends into practice and caught a perfect wave of inspiration in the studio. I felt particularly free during this time and at this party, everything in life went perfectly. Nothing could go wrong. Visions Of Freedom

ABSTHRAX (5.10.1977)

When Michael first discovered the original "August Förster" piano in grandma and grandpa's house as a young boy, he was hooked. His loving parents immediately recognized their son's talent for music and supported it from the beginning.
Since you could not learn to play the electric guitar or drums in the 1st grade, i.e. at about 7 years of age, the trumpet was the most impressive instrument and his future trumpet teacher Peter Roschi presented it with a huge amount of space. For Michael, it was clear that the trumpet should be the first one.
After 2 years of basic lessons and knowledge of sheet music as a threesome, we then went to the ensemble of the Kadettenmusik Aarau. There he learned in an impressive way how a small orchestra is structured and how incredibly strong the power of music can be when you play and live it together. He was immediately hooked...
When the "August Förster" suddenly stood at his home, there was no stopping him. Every day he needed his piano ritual, played all the songs he liked without any trained knowledge of the keyboard, only by ear. At the same time, it was a kind of meditation early on. This piano will accompany him and his brother, who has been blessed with the same musical talent, for a long time to come.
Whether piano, cornet, trumpet or trombone, Michael tried out many things during this time. This partly ended at the age of about 14, as he met the cool guys in high school who really wanted to found a band. Guns'n'Roses, AC/DC, Metallica and whatever they are called, were very trendy at the time, the hair was long, and the guitars hung low.
Luckily, his father Markus still had an old "Framus" electric guitar. From then on, the electric guitar was his main instrument and the first band was founded at the age of 14. In total, Michael played the electric guitar in 3 different main bands and various side projects until he was about 30 years old, in the latter also bass or drums.
Cubase1 was also developed at that time and first insights into electronic music in the studio of friends were possible. 
Through the S.U.N Project, which produced the music style "GOA" with distorted guitar and drums, Michael found his way into the previously hated, dead and lifeless computer music. Luckily, there was this studio. From now on, DJ was the order of the day. At that time, this was only possible with vinyl and you still had to travel long distances to get to your shards.
He became a resident DJ at the GoaSpaceGroup and often DJed with his brother at various Goa parties. At some point, however, the good music was only released on CDs and since there was no money for players, and at that time the digital computer world was still too far away for Michael, the end of Dj Absentia came for the time being. The position in the band was more important anyway and the energy of the five on stage was also much more intense. Until the age of 30, he played in the last band. As is so often the case, an argument led to one of them packing his things and leaving.
Then family and everything around it became so important that Michael didn't notice how his musical talent was absolutely unused and forgotten, slowly atrophied. A deep spiritual wound arose quite unnoticed. In between, he was in the studio at "Sphenoid music" and took a lot of know-how with him from this time, got to know all the Fabfilters and other plugins, including Cubase. In itself, watching the champion for hours was really good. The joint project "Plasma" did not work for very long, but it was still very rich in learning.
Through further training in the graphic planning of horticulture, Michael really made friends with the computer for the first time and later Dj Absentia was also gradually raised from the dead. Sphenoid helped him understand Traktor and Beatport. Thanks to the close contacts to the "Reisefieber" crew, he has the opportunity to mix at various parties. But as in the past, a musician simply notices the difference. Mixing alone is not enough.
It was only when he bought a hybrid western guitar with nylon strings with cut away at the age of about 37 and began to sing and play the old songs that were all still in his head on his own in the style of a singer-songwriter, he experienced again the lost magic and meditation that he once felt directly in analogue direct music through vibration on and in his own body. The tears flowed by the liter in the early days, it was his salvation. He had rediscovered an important form of meditation that he will now practice forever. The learning effect has also been huge since then and does not seem to stop.
It was only with the death of his father and the little inheritance that Michael decided to afford a DAW that can hardly be topped in terms of performance. Now it was time to take the helm into our own hands digitally. Only after a few sobering results, feeling "at home" on the DAW and watching some good video tutorials, did he get to know certain blueprints for floor plans and foundations of song structures, which has developed into the 1st small milestone.
However, what is needed first and foremost is the time and space for inspiration. This is a bit difficult, especially in the summer months. But he will now produce music for the rest of his life and learn a lot along the way. How close one release will be to the next remains to be seen. But it comes!!
