Project TWO is my second full length music composition project. This project was developed as a concept for fashion show soundtracks. Even though each track was influenced by different subject matters, I wanted the tracks to appeal to a young, energetic and trendy fashion brand. Since these were composed for fashion shows, I put more emphasis on drumbeats for the catwalks, but I used intros, outros and bridges to break up the repetitive patterns in the tracks. The length of the tracks can be adjusted to the length of the shows.

So here we are - and only the second time I have attempted a track like this. And boy is this a fun genre to work with. I like it because it is fairly minimal without a ton of layers - which gives you room to breath and try things out - especially with the bass. If it was any more fun I'd probably get myself arrested, or at least have to get naked. And nobody wants that.

Thanks to my friend @onedarksid313 for inspiring me to take part in this beat battle - this won't be the last time I make a Riddim/Dubstep track!

His sound is dense, hypnotic and dance floor–driven, yet always introspective. With performances at Nature One, Mayday, Nibirii and Ikarus, as well as international shows from Buenos Aires to Berlin, he continues to shape and contribute to techno culture. For him, techno is less about excess and more about detail, with long hours spent in the studio, organising events, and running his own label.
In 2018 he founded SINEE, now Germany’s leading e-learning platform for electronic music. Releases on Nachtstrom Schallplatten and his upcoming project 10 000 Black Seeds mark important milestones in his creative path, which is driven by analog gear, modular synthesis and a fascination for dark aesthetics. His music stands as a hypnotic soundtrack to constant self-development.

In this set, Torwellen delivers a ride through hypnotic, groovy and edgy sounds, recorded straight out of his studio. It captures the energy of his approach and offers a trip that is as immersive to listen to as it was for him to create.
