On Tuesday, Portsmouth City Council held its last meeting of the full council before May's local elections where 14 of the 42 councillors face re-election.

Was it a point-scoring exchange of leaflet writing soundbites or did harmony break out ahead of the electoral battle ahead? 

The agenda included; Council tax for 2nd homes, Plans for an Anaerobic Digester, Pay Policy Settlement, Tesco pulling recycling from stores in the city, Extending safe spaces, Southern Water's continued dumping of sewage into our waters, Stopping bailiffs chasing Council Tax debt, young carers & What's happening to the fireworks in Cosham.

When a Nurse comes to see him, the residents and staff at the Home are amazed. This is a surprise, but of course Mr Thomas does not want to receive any visitors. Just what is his secret? And what news does the Nurse bring with her?
