Audio of a mini mix I made where I worked on visuals at the same time with only a rough idea; no plan for either. 

In case anyone’s ever confused and thinks I use AI; please don’t be confused. It’s just me and the Rekordbox mobile app, SoundCloud, the free version of Phonto for basic photo editing, and BandLab as my DAW 

The only time I use AI is for basic stem separation for a small handful of my tracks (longtime listeners know I obviously am not picky about clean stems or messy sounds, so even this is RARE). The rest of the time, it’s just me and ideas I have in the bathroom and mock up on my phone. 

Yes, I use the sync button (FOH if you’re 100% too cool to touch it but ya know how disgusting it sounds trying to manually beat match on a touchscreen only with no jog wheels or tempo sliders and not sound like you’re scratching?! Hahahahaha) 

Yes I know how to use a real controller and manually beat match without looking at the grid? Yes. 

Yes I know stuff about real music. I was composing and arranging classical tracks in Finale Notepad from the moment I first picked up a Saxophone at the age of 12 and can find my way around a trumpet and a piano without much difficulty. 

Yes I do more than just two minute fart mashups. I take time to make some deep, thought-out, and polished shit sometimes. 

Am I wrapped up in being a grown as musician right now? Obviously not, I’m not even six months into this and still getting to know what *my sound* will be.
