Motorway is a debut album by Stephen Hemstritch-Johnston aka Fearofdark, a signature work that definitely stood the test of time since its original release in 2012.

The jazz and funk grooves composed with changing times and new adventures in mind, taking inspiration from the fact of moving away from home, and being away from family for the first time in life.

The remastered version was a project that lasted for more than two years. Every track was carefully re-mixed and re-mastered from the original sources to get the sound aligned with Exit Plan, Fearofdark's significant follow-up to Motorway.

Household Man

As you probably know, I'm a big fan of an arcade game for kids called PriPara. I arranged the (unbelievably addicting) outfit change BGM in famicom style. I originally did this in less than 30 minutes before my live set @ PICO JAM 2018 in kichijoji. Then I realized how much I screwed up on the notes and fixed it thereafter.

I have actually 8 different remaster files for this song and i gotta break it off somewhere
i think this is as good as it's gonna get tbh

After all this time I finally made something new! ... but i guess that is the pattern anyway isn't it

I was trying to make synths i liked with Serum and... i just can't seem to get the right sound with it, no matter what i do. it sounds too clean. it's horrible actually xD i switched back to synth1 and busted this thing out in a couple days. i guess i just like the grunginess of synth1 a bit better.....

And now for the backstory:

This song was made for one of many unreleased/unfinished chiptune albums I made after creating the album "ALBUM 2" (which became that whole unreleased chiptune album that I made a couple months ago). 

I can recall just finding this and listening to that part at the end (which was very unpolished and awful to listen to) and thinking, "How about I make this part not crap."

And so I did.
