After just over a year on-air and more than 200k plays later Stay Cool transitions from a radio show into a label with our debut compilation. Altogether is a 50-track behemoth that spans two parts, Part. I is focused on slower Hip-Hop & R&B sounds, and Part. II is focused on faster electronic frequencies. 

Altogether takes its name from a few aspects in the recent history of the movement. It describes the compilation bringing together many of the different sounds and artists purveyed on the show, how quickly we’ve been able to grow in our short time on air as a result of the genuine relationships we’ve built through music and finally describes the ability of seangran and his pals to get through their own personal trials and tribulations thanks to the power of music and the strength of their real friendships. 

Thus despite being a free download it does come with one request: that you take some time out when listening to consider the people that have supported you and made you who you are today. Maybe even reach out to one you haven’t heard from in a while and just say “Hey”. Hard times can be difficult but if we help carry the weight of things that have been holding down those that we love it makes those times easier and our bonds stronger. We can not only survive, but thrive, when we begin to think “Altogether”.

We arrived to Berlin, Germany with a understanding and a goal - together we were to create the second release of our traveling experience EP's. It started out in Rotterdam with the project we did with members from the movement and now the second release is here. The tracks has been produced under a timeline of only a couple of days, and they were all made in the airbnb that we rented for our stay. 

Seeing all of the members work, and seeing how they manage to work this quickly is highly impressive. All of the members are using different techniques, so this was super interesting to see. The french producer ØDYSSEE located in Paris, is using the MPC Studio while Gustav Gustav was fully using Ableton to produce and KLIM was without any computer at all, keeping it old-school using the MPC 1000 and they still managed to work easily - I truly hope you will enjoy this wonderful project. 

Berlin was such a nice city and all the people were super friendly we met up with. A special shoutout to Figub Brazlevič for dropping by during the last day we had there. I’m already planning new trips for the members to meet up and produce new tracks in. It’s really inspiring to see people from around the world give each other inspiration and new techniques to work with.
