Artist: Dubrovnik (UK) [Greyscale / OHM Series / Verdant / Mixcult / Lempuyang]

Our 10th voyage into sound is brought to you on this occasion by Chris Currie, better know as Dubrovnik (UK). The Glasgow based DJ & Producer has really been flexing his musical muscles over the last few years with his releases on Greyscale and Verdant, as well has some incredible tracks for OHM series and the mighty Lempuyang. 

His sound is hard to put into one specific box, which is always a good thing. Dubbed out house and techno, euphoric and uplifting while maintaining a level of deepness most can only aspire to. His sound has a uniqueness to it which in this current climate of saturation is the highest compliment we can pay. 

For this Frontier mix Chris has turned in a truly epic hour and 45 minute journey. He kicks  things off in the realms of deep house and heady, atmospheric dubbed out electronica. Before slowly moving through the gears into some real heads down dub techno that wouldn’t be put of place in an abandoned Berlin warehouse. He caps things off with some classy dub leaning techno cuts culminating in some straight up ravey bangers that will get your head nodding.   

We want to thank Chris for this contribution to the series, he certainly got the memo of what we asked for and has knocked it out of the park.

Mike got given a cd-rom of virtual DJ back in 2009 and since then has put up a lot of electronic music mixes, all of which can be listened to for free via various platforms. He has played with some well known artists as well most of his local community. ''Dub Techno for me is one of the best starting points / sounds for most of my DJ sets I play a wide variety of dance music and I find this one of the most relaxing and hypnotic vibes to create an atmosphere suitable for dancing and relaxing in this mix I have tried to get both movement and relaxation achieved''. About:
Irish DJ and producer GAMADON (short for Gavin Mac Donagh) has recently moved back to Ireland from London, where he established the Warehouse Manifesto record label and mix series over the past few years.

Warehouse Manifesto has just released its sixth vinyl release, with three more releases planned for 2025 - all by GAMADON, with remixes by some of the most respected names in the business. All of the vinyl releases are on limited edition picture disc, setting them apart from most records. Gavin’s borderline infatuation with vinyl has been unwavering since the late nineties and you will never see him DJ in any other format.

Gavin is one of the ELECTRONIC CONVERGENCE residents and has a monthly livestream. These mixes are available on YouTube and SoundCloud and showcase his versatility in terms of musical genres, while always keeping it strictly underground.
