30 Years of Dread : Conrad Subs Mix

Conrad Subs (real name Ad krolik) has been producing drum & bass, jungle music for over 20 years. He has gone under many names In the past: ADK, Nifty and Sulako to name a few, but after taking a small break he returned to production in 2017 under the new alias Conrad Subs and quickly established himself as a rising talent on the scene. 

Early releases on labels such as Soul Deep, Inna Rhythm and DJ Hybrid’s deep in the jungle showcased Conrad’s diverse sound - Liquid, Jump Up, Jungle… All styles were present in his arsenal and things quickly gained momentum. 

Fast forward a few years and Subs now has a wealth of dance floor classics in his discography. From the anthemic ‘ revival’ on Ram Records, ‘Cool Off’  on Symmetry and ‘Little Vibey Thing’ on Nuusic, to a feast of dance floor fire on deep in the jungle including anthems such as ‘Come Selecta’ , ‘When It’s Time’ , ‘Special Request’ , and ‘The Rhythm’. With other releases on highly respected labels such as Hospital, 31, Liquid V, Program, Dread, Delta9, Soulvent, Murky, Liondub International and his own imprint Koba Audio, plus a 2019 We Love Jungle Awards nomination for Best Breakthrough Producer, there is no stopping Conrad Subs.

Yes yes, what you all have been waiting for. the best live recorded set you have ever witnessed. Three proper selectors have graced your screen and ears, lock in and witness history through the digital platform. 

Doober kicks things off with some proper naughty minimal funk, if you don't like his selections that is the closest thing to Kaitlyn Jenner as possible. Doober has come a very long way since he first picked up the E2, grinding every day on his craft. 

Latch swiftly takes the next spot with rompers ravaging the dance, tasteful selections such as break and alibi align for the finer palate. Never judge a book by its cover... this does not apply for latch, he looks exactly like the music he plays. 

Finally ending with Bassline, he shuts down the video with some liquid that will bring you to your knees begging to repent and confess your sins. It is ok to cry, these emotions can not be controlled when the sound waves enter your brain. Hypnotic type set that will bring all your demons to the surface, alas cleansing your subconscious mind from your trauma.

Ruckus crew have put together a nice wee snippet for what's in store when you secure your ticket. Think of this as a trailer to a massive Hollywood movie. Only its just a couple of bredrin's shelling down some riddems, some of the filthiest tunes you can possibly think of. There is not a single Instagram influencer dj on this line up so expect some serious underground dnb with the all the attitude you will need after a long week. 

10mins from each of the Ruckus lads that will be playing on the night, with big Bassline on the host duties. No he is not from the roads man, just has the radio voice in that on lock, trust.
