THIS WEEK'S SHOW: Those hills are back, baby! 

58 years (!) and many iterations later, historian/preservationist Mike Matessino has assembled a soundtrack set fans could only dream of. THE SOUND OF MUSIC: SUPER DELUXE EDITION is the definitive audio collection comprising the complete film score plus a wealth of previously-unreleased material including instrumentals for every song, demos and rare outtakes from the cast. We gave you a preview in October, and now Mike is here for the entire hour to chat about what's included on the 4 discs and how it all came together. Plus, we'll play a handful of tracks in this end-to-end CELLULOID DREAMS exclusive!

Now in its 5th year, SF QUEER FILM FEST provides an inclusive platform for LGBTQ+ filmmakers to share bold, innovative and authentic stories by showcasing films by local and international filmmakers (along with on-stage Q&As). Their goal is to foster a creative space where filmmakers are celebrated for their unique perspectives regardless of premier status, budget or industry connections. SPLITSVILLE bills itself as "an unromantic comedy" which explores the messy, hilarious and sometimes painful terrain of love and breakups, mixing two man children, one open relationship and ridiculous relationship dynamics. That doesn't begin to capture the movie! Actor/writer/director Michael Angelo Covino & actor/writer Kyle Marvin Zoom in and chat about how their creative partnership helped shape the film, why humor is an essential way to process heartbreak and what SPLITSVILLE ultimately says about love and connection.  

In 1990, a group of thieves stole 13 paintings worth hundreds of millions of dollars from a Boston museum in what remains one of the greatest unsolved art heists in history. ANY DAY NOW is a fictionalized (and slightly humorous) imagining of the events leading up to the robbery, centering on an unassuming security guard whose life has gotten away from him, who gets maneuvered into the operation by a criminal art lover. Joining us is criminal mastermind-- er, actor Paul Guilfoyle (L.A. CONFIDENTIAL).

Sol and Gina worked hard to build their perfect life. With a passion for education, they obtain teaching positions at the same elementary school, adopt a little dog named Rosie, and in their spare time, renovate a vintage RV for an unforgettable summer road trip across America.

When Gina is killed in a school shooting, Sol, paralyzed with grief, determines to honor Gina's memory by embarking on their planned summer journey, accompanied by little Rosie, helping others and in search of his own path.
